Journey Toward the Lord
This digital illustration is inspired by Hispanic culture and the Spanish language, vividly depicting the emotional journey portrayed in the scripture. The artwork beautifully captures the essence of the phrase ‘the Lord is at zero kilometers from us,’ (El Señor 0Km) evoking a powerful sense of intimacy and immediacy.
Luke 15:20
And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.
Even though the son had squandered his inheritance, the father waited for him with longing and compassion. When he saw the son in the distance, he ran to him, embraced him, and welcomed him with boundless love. This passage highlights God’s willingness to forgive and receive those who repent, reminding us that His love is always available to us, no matter how far we may have wandered.
Returning to the Father’s Embrace: Lessons from the Prodigal Son Parable
The parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 reveals to us the compassionate and redeeming nature of God, who patiently awaits our return no matter how far we may have wandered. Through the story of reconciliation between the father and the prodigal son, we learn that there is no sin too great that cannot be forgiven by God’s unconditional love.
This narrative also reminds us that, regardless of our past, we all have the opportunity to return to the Father today. It invites us to set aside any shame or fear and approach God with humility and repentance, trusting in His grace and mercy that await us with open arms. Regardless of our circumstances or past mistakes, there is always a path back to the infinite grace and love of our heavenly Father.

Help Me Create Opportunities and Hope
At this moment, someone in my city is silently suffering due to the lack of purpose in their life, the inability to find employment, and the absence of a profession. Some will succumb to overdoses, others to depression, and some will end up ruining their families. With your support, I could establish a textile printing workshop and, in addition to creating local jobs, initiate free training courses for young people facing economic and emotional difficulties. These would be young individuals living a new life under the grace of our God.
