The Truth – La Verità
The truth will set you free – ‘La verità vi farà liberi’ in Italian, inspired by John 8:32. A unique and meaningful design through which each of us can convey a message of freedom.
John 8:31-38
[31] So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, [32] and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” [33] They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?” [34] Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. [35] The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. [36] So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. [37] I know that you are offspring of Abraham; yet you seek to kill me because my word finds no place in you. [38] I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.” – John 8:31-38
Liberation in Christ: A Pathway to Freedom
In this teaching, we encounter a deep and meaningful call from Jesus to abide in His word to experience genuine freedom. As His disciples, He invites us to root ourselves in the truth He brings through His word, to live in accordance with His teachings that free us from the burden of sin.
Jesus reveals to us that, when we engage in the practice of sin, we become slaves to its weight. However, in His redeeming grace, He offers us authentic and lasting freedom. It is a freedom that transcends earthly chains and connects us directly with the very essence of God.
Reflecting on these words, we realize the importance of belonging to God. It is an invitation to leave behind the bonds of sin and embrace a liberating relationship with our Creator. Being aware of our freedom in Christ not only releases us from spiritual chains but also urges us to live in a manner that reflects divine grace and truth.
In this passage, Jesus not only offers us freedom but also calls us to be living witnesses of that freedom to the world. As His followers, we have the responsibility to reject the slavery of sin and proclaim with our lives the freedom we find in Him. May every step we take be infused with the truth that liberates us, and as we live in that freedom, may we inspire others to do the same.

Help Me Create Opportunities and Hope
At this moment, someone in my city is silently suffering due to the lack of purpose in their life, the inability to find employment, and the absence of a profession. Some will succumb to overdoses, others to depression, and some will end up ruining their families. With your support, I could establish a textile printing workshop and, in addition to creating local jobs, initiate free training courses for young people facing economic and emotional difficulties. These would be young individuals living a new life under the grace of our God.
